The “Made in Tokyo” project is a new supply chain focused on “consistent production of apparel from textiles to sewing”. The project is centered around sewing factories around Tokyo whose strengths include advanced manufacturing technologies and highly skilled and efficient staff. Each company that is a part of this initiative all work together to expand this brand to the world.
We offer products of high craftsmanship for “luxury brands” and “ready to wear” brands destined for the United States and Europe.
In the history of the Japanese textile manufacturing industry, there have been a lot of companies that have received orders from prominent brands in Europe. Japanese companies have gained a high level of recognition worldwide for their superior quality and efficiency.
As it stands currently, more and more sewing for European brands are being done in Italy and Eastern Europe due to quality control regulations set there.
We believe that Japanese sewing factories can provide the convenience and cost advantages by having the clothes made here.
We at Edovance will make steps in the future to adjust our company in order to realize this change.
This initiative is an attempt for several companies in Tokyo to collaborate together with the aim of providing textiles and sewing services from Japan to the world. Our plan involves organizing a system to handle business to and from Japan and to act as a reliable contact point to foreign brands. As a result of our efforts, we would like to solve problems such as shortening delivery dates, reducing transportation costs and improving overall efficiency. We aim to be an equal or above competitor to factories in Italy and Eastern Europe. Our textile industry has been world renowned for a long time, as we aim to continue to keep that reputation. We also hope to build close relationships with brands and manufacturers around the world in order to expand into other markets in the future.
